We had a birthday party for our daughter today. Definitely recommend. This place is more affordable and spacious than other places in/around libertyville and vernon hills areas. Parking can be limited but plenty of street parking so not a huge deal. The instructors were nice but firm when needed which I appreciate because safety is paramount. They set up everything, decorated the room and carried all the stuff from the car. I wasnt even tired after the party. Great job.

0 stars but Google forces at least 1. Parents signing up at Ultimate Ninja should know what they’re actually agreeing to with the iClassPro system.

This isn’t just basic registration info. The policy allows collection of sensitive data (including medical info and even things like security-question answers), uses aggressive third-party tracking (Google, Facebook, etc.), and shares data across vendors and “partners” under very broad terms. They also keep your data for vague “business purposes,” which can effectively mean indefinitely.

And yes—this includes storing photos of kids under 13. Combining a child’s photo with their name, age, and other details in a system that’s tied into marketing and third-party tools is a real privacy concern, not just a checkbox.

None of this is required to run a kids gym. It’s a convenience/automation choice that comes with real tradeoffs, and parents should be told that upfront.

Bottom line: Ultimate Ninja may be a great program, but the data practices behind their signup system are far more invasive than most people realize. Share as little as possible and push back on anything that isn’t required.

Great experience! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They handle everything — setting up the room, entertaining the kids, serving, and cleaning up. Everyone loved Donati’s pizza. It was the best experience I’ve ever had hosting a kids’ birthday party!

Our twin boys go to Ultimate Ninjas Libertyville once a week, and they absolutely love it. Coach Brian and Evie are fantastic with kids, the obstacles are fun and challenging, and it’s a great way for them to get exercise and build confidence. We’ve seen real improvement in their coordination and attitude. Highly recommend!

I recently came for a birthday party at Ultimate Ninjas and I was very impressed! I was greeted with a smile and had staff interacting with my kids as soon as we walked in the door. This place is very well managed, with staff who are attentive, friendly, and hands-on with the kids. I was shocked at how clean the gym was and was impressed to see staff wiping tables and resetting courses between parties! The manager on duty, as well as the staff took care of absolutely everything from setting up the party room to cutting cake and handing out pizza. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable birthday party where everything is done for you while you get to relax and watch your kids play. We will definitely be back!!
So the site lists "open play" and has no hours or limitations. I drove half an hour with 2 kids who really wanted to check this place out, only to be told they were closed for private events and only have open play 1 hour a day on Saturday and Sunday.

List your real hours of walk in play on your website. Don't waste your time coming here unless your part of an overpriced kids bday party.

My three year old son attended the Little Ninja class on Sunday mornings from February to June. He loved it, and we plan on returning in the fall. His confidence and abilities grew tremendously throughout the last few months. The staff is supportive and friendly. The coaches meet the individual children where they are at, get to know them, and help coach them through a variety of obstacles. Thanks for the fun season!

We love this facility and their staff! We’ve had my 6 yo in classes for the last couple of years and cannot say enough nice things about the coaches and management. We’ve done different levels of classes and camps and my kiddos always have fun and come home tired ;-) They have been super supportive and helpful when we needed to switch classes and even let my youngest try out lil’ ninja classes to see how he did with the structure before we committed. It’s very fairly priced and all of the coaches are very patient and attentive My oldest sincerely looks forward to class every week and we are so happy to see how much confidence he has gained in the obstacles. 10/10 recommend checking it out !

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Kids Classes

How old does my child need to be for kids classes in Libertyville?

Lil Ninjas covers ages 3–5 with shorter sessions and smaller obstacles. Core Kids classes are for ages 6+ and are grouped by age and skill so beginners aren't lost next to advanced athletes.

How long is each kids class at Libertyville?

Classes run about 45–60 minutes with warm-up, coached obstacle stations, and skill-focused free play so kids stay engaged without burning out.

When are kids classes offered at Ultimate Ninjas Libertyville?

Weekday after-school blocks commonly land around 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm Mon–Thu, with Friday and weekend morning options on the published schedule. Check the Libertyville schedule on this page for the current week's times.

Do kids need prior ninja experience to join in Libertyville?

No. Coaches meet kids where they are — first-timers learn safe landings and basic hangs while more confident athletes progress on harder lines.

What skills will my child build in Libertyville classes?

Grip strength, body control, balance, timing on jumps, and the confidence to try again after a miss. Classes turn running, climbing, and swinging into coached skill work.

Can my child try a Libertyville class before we enroll?

Yes. Use the free class offer to sample coaching and the course layout before you buy a membership or multi-class pack.

What if my child is younger than the main 6+ track?

That's what Lil Ninjas is for. Preschool-age classes at Libertyville focus on balance, crawling, climbing, and listening skills at a 3–5-year-old pace.

Is this a smart activity for long Illinois winters?

It is. Libertyville and the wider Lake County area get long cold stretches. Indoor obstacle classes keep kids moving when outdoor parks are off the table.

How do I enroll for Libertyville kids classes?

Register online for this location, pick the age track that matches your child, and complete the waiver before the first session. Call (847) 787-1130 if you need help choosing a level.

What is your class cancellation policy at Libertyville?

Contact us at least 24 hours ahead when you need to cancel or reschedule. We'll work with you when life happens — just give us as much notice as you can.
